The Babi Italia furniture collections are an excellent option for families who want the nursery to be an extension of the decorative style of their home. There are two collections offered: Eastside and Hamilton.

Within each collection there are 4 to 5 pieces offered which may include the classic crib, the Lifestyle crib, a 5 and/or 6-drawer dresser, a changing-table/dresser combo and a nightstand.

The Lifestyle crib is the hallmark of the LaJobi line of furniture. By removing just four bolts, the crib can be converted to a toddler bed or day bed, and ultimately to a full-size bed. In fact, the Babi Italia Lifestyle crib has been recognized and awarded as a coveted Consumer Best Buy by Consumer Digest in recent years.

Furniture attributes include a mix of solid hardwoods, wood veneers, and/or birch veneers over rubberwood. Prior to an extensive minimum six-step hand and spray-applied finishing process, each piece is hand and machine sanded. A clear coat sealer is applied to all pieces.

Customers can be assured that the Babi Italia collections meet the latest safety criteria — all are JPMA certified and also conform to ASTM and CPSC safety standards. In addition, all finishes and painted items are free of lead and heavy metals.
